Floating book fair to dock in Puerto Princesa City

Logos Hope will bring more than 5,000 different kinds of books from a large collection of different categories.

Logos Hope is a floating library that goes from port to port worldwide supplying vital literature resources, encouraging inter-cultural understanding, promoting greater global awareness and sharing a message of hope in God wherever there is opportunity.

The all-volunteer crew and staff comprise of over 400 people representing 45 different nations who offer a unique example of unity in cultural diversity.

Logos Hope is operated by GBA Ships e.V., an international, charitable organization registered in Germany. In its 40 years of service, the organization has welcomed 40 million visitors up the gangways in over 160 countries and territories around the world.

Entrance fee is P20 which will entitle the visitor to the book fair and the different facilities of the ship like the café and the Journey of Life exhibit.

It will remain docked in Puerto Princesa City port until July 7, 2013. (LBR/VSM/PIA4B/Palawan)
